These two can be combined. I see you can get bangkok to oslo direct on thai airline.. total trip from WLG to REK is then 37 hours (including connection)

Distance by flight in the most direct routing.

You can also share what has been your most longest flight 24hrs< between any two cities.

Likewise, you could do LHR-KEF on Icelandair. One of those stops is unnecessary.

But NYC and EWR are not capital cities. My guess would be LHR-SIN nonstop.

Canberra and Wellington don't seem to get long haul non stops.

Maybe South America to Moscow if there's nonstop service?

There is a wikipedia article listing the 30 longest non-stop flights, but no route between two capitals seem to make it on that one. My guess would be IAD-ADD at 7193 miles, if you count IAD as a capital. Otherwise NRT-MEX at 7004.
