Anyone use Loki?
This is a Firefox extension (it may come in other flavors also) that shows your geographic location based on your IP address and maybe other data (don't know).
When I'm at home, it pinpoints me nearly at the rooftop level (the arrow actually shows up on my street but at the wrong spot). At work, it's not quite as good but still shows a nearby city where I assume our big internet connections are.
Still waiting to try it on the road. Loki's practical application is that it can show local points of interest e.g. restaurants, shopping, other stuff.
Anyone else use it? Have you found it helpful?
