Portable DVD player
I'm looking for a new portable DVD player.
The most important factors are (in order):
(1) Battery life
(2) Screen quality
(3) Portable (fits into a briefcase)
(4) Price
My current model is fine (Panasonic DVD-LS5) except the battery life is terrible. I want longer battery life so that 2 batteries will get me 8+ hours of viewing.

The Good News: Panasonic just announced a new DVD player with 12-hour battery life.
The Bad News: Available in Japan next month. USA release not stated.

Up to 5 1/2 hour battery life. Perfect for transcons. Not sure but I suppose you could buy an extra battery.
The unit is a little bulky but certainly manageable

The Panasonic LX97 claims 10 hours at lowest brightness and 5 hours at maximum brightness. You can double those numbers with a second battery.
