IOS Continuity Watch/Phone on Different Carriers
If I buy an Apple Watch 3 cellular on a different carrier from my phone, can I use Continuity to create a dual SIM experience on my phone?

The LTE service on the watch has to be shared with the service on the phone. AFAIK, an LTE-enabled Apple Watch without a same-service, shared-number iPhone is no different than a non-LTE Apple Watch. Except it has an extra eSIM chip inside.
