Looks like a little tit tat - claim that evad3rs team 'sold out' to Chinese developer for as much $1 million? And then remotely disable the default installation of TaiG [buyer] as pirated apps being loaded into the repo! Read below for more details....

On the English language front, Saurik will hopefully have the substrates up and running soon.....

I just wish they'd put it out in private to let the major platform devs get everything up to speed befor releasing.
We're now stuck in a space where the jailbreak is not usable for many (e.g. on i5 iOS 6.1.x using mobile substrate) and hoping Apple don't patch and release quickly to prevent the jb working - especially with 7.1 in beta, did this just burn an untethered break or will Apple (hopefully) decide they're too far into the 7.1 process to patch it.
It'd be nice to have a longer window to be able to restore and re-jailbreak while getting the new tweeks and things all working.

There is a rumor out there (which has also been denied) that the code underlying the jailbreak had been stolen and that they put out the jailbreak at this point out of fear that Apple would fix it.

Update: The latest iOS developer's beta patched the vulnerability that the the jail breakers were exploiting hence the release. If they didn't put it out, it was gone.

Getting tweed that iOS7JB's 1.0.2 beta came out this evening - that it should fix the iPad2 WiFi bootlooping. It is beta - for, could still failed for some eager to do it.

Caution, devices that OTA to 7.x should/need to do a backup & restore first, before attempting any JB - as always, proceed at one's own risks & read all the latest posts and warnings at the above sites.
Update - I can affirm that it worked for JB iPad2 WiFi model already on iOS 7.0.4 - previously backed up & restored via iTune Store (never OTA'd) D/L & verified SHA1, install & ran it - took about 10 minutes after several reboot & unlock cycle, press evasi0n icon - and it finished/exit. Cydia 1.1.8 installed and is running now - good to go. Good luck for those of you for taking the plunge for a Happy New Year 2014.

Saurik's 2014 new year gift:
http://www.iclarified.com/37203/saur...-the-iphone-5s.
The tweaks/hacks will now slowly follow. I'm going to wait another week or so before jb my 5s.

I am readying a family member's old iPhone 4 to sell on eBay. It would be worth slightly more jailbroken. It is on 7.0.4.
The iClarified.com wizard says to use Evasi0n but the links to that program are dead.
Is it possible to jailbreak a phone that old?
I'd also like to unlock it (it's an AT&T phone) but it's modem firmware is 5.0.02 and the iClarified unlock wizard doesn't show that firmware.
I'm actually wondering whether iClarified has the most current information. I know that there was a semi(?)-tethered jailbreak for for 9.3.3 but it never showed that information.
Any help would be delightful

The 4 model is worth at most $50 and not worth JB. At very most, you'd get another $5.00. Definitely keep on 7.x, anything higher will cause serious lags.
