where can I buy the iPad with no sales tax? (no, I don't live anywhere near Delaware)

Apple Store charges sales tax if I have it shipped to my home or office.

Local BestBuy stores obviously charges sales tax.... (which is nearly $90 in sales tax for the iPad model I wanted)

I wonder why Amazon doesn't sell iPads?

I think w Amazon, every once in a while, you will find new ones for cheaper than what u would if u had paid sales tax. Another option maybe slightly used.

Are you anywhere near Oregon or New Hampshire?

Either sales tax or shipping fees. Try here for no sales tax: http://www.macmall.com/n/Ipad/macCustomPages-2049

Another with no sales tax (outside IL, WI and IN) is ABT:

There's no sales tax in Oregon, so you could fly to PDX and take the Max to the Best Buy near the airport, but that kind of eats up your $90 savings.

It appears that Buy.com sells the 16GB, Wifi ipad for about $670. Apple charges $499.

I'd say that large price delta swamps any sales tax savings.

ANC has no sales tax! And with creative routings, you can currently find some reasonable cpm fares here, so throw it in with a mileage run!

I don't think AMAZON actually has carried the ipad. I know some sellers which they LINK to have, but has anyone actually bought it on amazon FROM amazon.

From a ways back...

Wonder why you can't buy an IPad from MacMall online. You have to call the 800 number. Interesting.
