Plastic resin that they use inside soft-sided luggages

Inside soft-sided luggages, they use metal around the sides (top, bottom, left, right) to give the bag its shape. They also rivet in a plastic sheet, usually on the top and bottom sides, to hold up the shape of the bag.

Does anyone know what kind of plastic resin is used? I have a fabric bag that I'd like to add a rigid bottom to and would like to get a plastic resin similar to what they use in soft-sided luggages.

It is often multiwall Lexan. Search google for Lexan or multiwall polycarbonate.
