Spinner that's actually carry-on sized

Are there any spinner luggage that actually fit ALL carry-on size requirements for airlines? From what I could find, Air France requires 21x13x9 but if ignore them, the general size seems to be 22x14x9.

All of the spinners labeled as "carry-on" seem to always be a little bigger (like some variation of 21.5x15x10). I keep reading up reviews on these spinners and a lot of people will say they never have a problem, but then there are always a couple people that are forced to check that bag in. Are there really no spinners that fit the carry-on size requirement?

If you are really paranoid about it, you can get something like a Rimowa Salsa Air Mini Multiwheel, which definitely fits. Several of their spinner briefcase products also allow you to remove the file folder insert, converting it into a regular carry on.

But for the record you are over thinking this. Just get a regular (21.5 x 15 x 10 or whatever) carry on and you will be fine. Nobody measures, and they do fit into the sizers with a bit of squish if they have to.

Tumi Tegra International Carry-on is exactly 22x14x9.

Here you go... And not much over a hundred bucks with coupons etc.

I agree with the post above, you'll usually be fine if it's close. But if you don't want to chance it, this one claims to be truly 22x14x9.

Exactly: the Cabin multiwheel fits perfectly. My wife uses this one regularly. I've tried it in a standard sizer and no problems:

In fact even this one (Bolero multiwheel 45l) which I use regularly, will fit completely in the standard sizer....as long as you dont stuff the exterior pockets and dont over pack the interior.

The Rimowa polycarbonate lines are in theory "hard luggage" but they flex and so does the zipper joint that goes the entire width of the unit, so as long as you dont overstuff the thing, you can count on getting even "oversize" polycarbonate Rimowa hand luggage though any sizer check.

I have a Muji softcase spinner carryon. It's approx. 21".

Never had any issues bringing it on board with various European and Asian carriers.

Eagle Creek measures from floor to handle. So the measurements they provide are true to the actual size including wheels and handles.
