I am also looking for power toothbrush that I can use when I travel for vacation or business meetings. I find it very useful and convenient, not only it gives protection to my gums and teeth I also notice my breath getting fresher than before.

See this for top models: http://www.bestsellingreviews.com/Pe...ic-Toothbrush/

The Panasonic tooth brush just mainly vibrates. There isn't any actual swivel or brushing motion.

For my travel kit, I usually just like to keep it simple (and cheap) and buy whatever is on sale at the drugstore. Travel toothbrushes tend to get icky much faster than toothbrushes at home so I find that I dispose of them or repurpose them, after a dip in bleach, for other household cleaning chores quite regularly. I usually prefer manual toothbrushes but I like using electric ones for whitening toothpaste.

I'm not familiar with the Sonicare line although I have heard good things about them. On Amazon there are some models going for under $20 which may be a good bet for travel?

There is a sonicare battery powered toothbrush that looks like the original sonicare, just without the base (given it's battery powered). I bought it during a year I lived on three different continents knowing I never know where I was going be a few months down the road and I needed to not worry about voltage issues or carrying a charger. Has been great.
