Filming F suites with GoPro

For those who have filmed F suites with GoPro, do you shoot on wide or normal? My concern is that wide gives too much distortion, but normal isn't wide enough to include the whole suite. What are your thoughts?

I am using a GoPro Hero3+ Black.

No matter how you film it, the GoPro footage always messes it up and makes it look much larger than it is. I'd recommend a phone with panorama mode, or a P&S with the same - or photos you manually stitch together.

I meant filming, not photographing a suite. From some Youtube videos, it seems like wide is okay, except at the edges...
