Not technically a tripod, but it WAS a tripod mount attached to a brace in my car... and it was long exposure ;-) from a vacation thi summer...

Miata on the Tail of the Dragon? Fun stuff. I've taken a drive up there with the MR2 Owner's Club back when I had a 93 Turbo. Closer to home (at the time), we used to do quick mountain runs up in Dahlonega, GA.

It was from the balcony off of the Ritz Carlton Club lounge. We managed to talk our way into a private viewing of the fireworks with a few staff after the lounge closed.
