..., JKF for its JetBlue terminal? I fly in and out of there all the time, never even noticed the amenities they refer to. It has always seemed depressing and crowded. Am I missing something as I go through that terminal?
(Love JB, hate Terminal 6, not to mention the temp terminal that you have to shuttle to occasionally.)

I think part of the title is missing..."Top 10 Airports in the World...to AVOID"
I could think of a lot of airports I don't really mind being laid over at and JFK isn't one of them.
I'm surprised LAS didn't make it. I can see it now... "I love LAS. You don't even have to leave the airport to take a vacation to gamble. Just fly in, hang out at the airport, then take a red eye back. You get all the slot machines and smoke filled rooms you can imagine, plus the shops sell gambling cheat sheets so you can talk the talk when you get home. You see the strip while landing so why actually leave the airport and navigate traffic!"

If JFK is on the top 10 best list because of B6 terminal only, then why on earth FRA is not on the list? FCT @ FRA is THE best terminal in the world so far.
No HKG as well as ICN is plain simple crazy too.

I am seriously wondering where they got this list from. No mention of what the grading crieteria were.
I'm completely flabbergasted why they chose JFK over SFO or SEA.

LHR?????? HWhat is he snorting/smoking/sniffing????
By the time one gets thru all the ____ lines (___ = YAMV, your adjective may vary), and walks a bizllion miles gate-terminal, blah blah blah, who's got the "two hours to spare"?
Glad to see it's at least rated at barely half of one star by over 300 users so far.

The author of this article obviously doesn't travel much. Half of those airports would be on my list to avoid. LAX, JFK, and LHR come to mind immediately.
And the fact that HKG wasn't included shows he's a complete ignoramus.

T9 while very spacious lacks decent concessions. And the walk to other than gate 12 can be a pain if one is hauling heavy luggage. T8 is of course beyond depressing but again will be gone soon. T4 is the probably only terminal that is near to "International".
The air tran is a godsend compared to the buses that were used prior to that but it would be much, much better if it went all the way to Manhattan. On early morning flights you must put up with young and loud drunks on the LIRR or deal with the A train which does not run through the best of neighborhoods.
The the reporter on this story must have never seen what a truly "International" grade terminal was like.

What was he smoking?
LHR? Hell's hometown airport.
I will fly through FRA to LCY just to avoid LHR.
I have a hard time taking any list seriously of the best airports that does not include NRT and HKG.

I get the impression the person who came up with the list either doesn't travel, or those are the only 10 airports he/she has been to.
