Just like when the All Blacks won their fourth Grand Slam in 2010, Air New Zealand has been named 2017 Airline of the Year by AirlineRatings.com in its Airline Excellence Awards, the fourth time it's taken the title.

Having just flown 4 segments on NZ around New Zealand, three on an A320 with excellent legroom in coach, I was pretty happy. Add in lounge access with a hot breakfast, and I'm a fan. Their nutty safety video drove me nuts, though.
Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Qantas placed second. This ratings site is Australia-based.
