NJ.com: Airlines cancel more than 800 flights as storm approaches

NEWARK — With a powerful storm poised to pound the East Coast, airlines have begun canceling hundreds of flights at airports around the region.

Nationwide, more than 800 flights in and out of the U.S. have been canceled for Friday, according to FlightAware, a flight tracking service. Additional cancellations of Saturday flights are expected as the storm approaches.
