Yahoo News: Airlines struggle to please the modern passenger

Seems rather silly to ask industry heads instead of the travelling public. I've learned that I can do without almost everything if I simply have adequate space.

IATA - it's all about "we win - you lose".
Anyone feel the next gen "unbundling" about to be unleashed upon us?
MH CEO Cgristopher Mueller speaks about unbundling to the point of "allowing passengers to choose" (airlinespeak for "charging the passenger for") things like lounge access or frequent flyer miles.
The times, they are about to change.
Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said "every customer wants something different."
The key to an individual experience is allowing passengers to decide on which perks they receive, he said.
Let them decide what they want. Let them pay for what they want," Joyce said.

"Airlines are struggling to keep pace with the finicky desires of today's passengers"
Yahoo news strikes again...
Like OMG I know, right? It used to be passengers liked having leg room and getting friendly service, but that is so 20th century!
I am so glad the airlines crack research teams have figured that out and been able to adjust to the fact that none of the people traveling today like these things anymore!
