Thrifty Facility Charge at OAK
Facility Charge ($10.00 per rental) at OAK airport.
Do all car companies at OAK have to charge this $10.00?

Well, I just did the legwork and checked several other companies' websites, and it appears the answer is yes.

Yes, they all charge the fee. It hits you hard on the one-day rentals. It's suppose to help pay for a new rental car facility. Cost overruns before construction put the project on hold. Don't know the current status.
SFO and SJC have a similar rental facility charge.
