SYD-BKK-LHR with Thai, First class
Thai use a B747 between Sydney and Bangkok and we flew their A380 on to London
The A380 is often thought to be the preferred aircraft but we felt that the First cabin and its seating on the 747 was just that bit better. That is a subjective view but what is clear is that you get a great seat and service on the Thai 747 and there is is no need to compromise to get to travel on the 380.

As this is not really a trip report, this thread will be moved to the Thai Airways forum.

I prefer A380 suites over 747 suites. larger, better functionality of the seat, much more quiet; I think also larger screen, larger overhead bins; maybe colors are more nice in the 747
