Fare class question
On the flight selection page, when you click on "fare basis information", it gives something like this: WLE3MSGE. Does the first letter indicate the class? So in this case W. If so, then QLE3MSGE would mean it's Q class.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Well actually it isn't class at all. Basis is the correct word. W and Q fare bases.
Class refers to coach/economy, business and such. So a W ticket is a coach/economy class with fare basis W.

I think its of more importance to understand that with such a W-fare-indicator booking-class you won't see full mileage accumulation after your flights while with Q-fare-indicator booking class you WILL be able to collect full mileage, and this not only with ROP but also with other Star mileage programs such as Mile&More etc..

The booking class is different from the cabin class (First, Business, Premium Economy, Economy).
