Thai contact center
Hi,
Does anyone have a way to connect through to a real person at the contact center instead of negotiating the automated system? I am trying to change a Q fare ticket in Y.
In typical TG style, the new phone automation is incorrect so when I follow the instructions to change a reservation I am told that I have entered an invalid code and get booted back to the main menu.
I am based in HK and tried the local office here but they won't touch the reservation as the flights originate in BKK. After much pleading they finally agreed to send a telex to Bangkok (that tells you a lot about which century TG thinks it is operating in!) to see if they can provide the appropriate costs for a date switch but they aren't expecting a positive outcome.
Any hints or tips to work around this would be much appreciated.
(Buying a fully flex ticket would have been a good tip but of course but the new TG website is too limited to allow such a thing)

Aha! Thanks - I misheard that as 912 rather than 112, which is bizarre because I have previously lived in Thailand for quite a while and usually have a good ear for Thai pronunciation. Its a shame they can't employ someone with English as a first language to narrate these systems.
Much appreciated.
