TG F - Can it interline to a LH ticket?
Hi,
My parents are traveling to Frankfurt form Sydney on TG in F. They then have a separate Y flight (on another PNR) to KTW on LH.
They want to know if the TG checkin in Sydney will check bags all the way to KTW? Also would they be able to get away with more than 20kg (they wish to take gifts, but they can ship them for cheaper than an extra bag on LH).
Would appreciate anyones insights.

Interline should be no problem, just make sure they have a paper ticket to show the Thai staff in SYD for the LH segment. In theory, LH's Y allowance would apply on the last segment, but practically the Thai agent will give them F allowance, aka 3x32kg or whatever.
