Finding a wine on a flight
Ok I did a search on Thai.com airlines website for this answer and within this forum but did not find the answer, so hoping someone can help....
My wife and I took Thai flight 925 from MUC-BKK on Dec 19 in first on the 747.
We had a great wine....it was a red Cab-Sav, but when the women showed me the bottle it appeared from France (which I do not believe would be a Cab).
Anywhere I can find out the wines served during the flight leg?
Thanks for your help.

a lot of Bordeaux wines have a high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon...
In F Class drink menu December 2014 from Europe are listed as red wine 2 from France:
Chateau Batailley 2007 (73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc), a Bordeaux from Pauillac; not a very famous one but I liked it
Mercurey Premier Cru 2012 (100% Pinot Noir), a well known Burgundy, but not very high classified and also pretty young, I did not try this one

often they have 2 whites, one Chardonnay from Burgundy and a Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon or mixed from Bordeaux
the two red are not always from Burgundy and Bordeaux, can also be from the less popular regions like Cotes du Rhone, Languedoc etc.
they do not serve expensive top class wine, but usually still reasonable
as you suggested, maybe they would do good to try some more wines from other countries like Italy, which come at a more reasonable price and have more varieties of grape type and combination

can get a bit boring after some time as there are mainly pure Cabernet Sauvignon (Argentina and Chile), Malbec (Argentina), Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir (all Chile)
Italian wine is well known for its huge variety of blends
