How to block OMNI (or other fora) from showing in new posts?

How to block OMNI (or other fora) from showing in new posts?
bumping on old thread but ... any suggestions on how I can avoid seeing OMNI topics in my New Posts? Thanks!

I'm guessing PilgrimsProgress is inquiring about not seeing OMNI posts when s/he clicks on "New Posts" in the blue bar near the top of the screen, not hiding OMNI from subscribed forums.

Exactly. I am not subscribed to OMNI. I have not found a way to exclude the OMNI forums from the new posts page.

For those who want to exclude posts from OMNI fora in their search: just add '&exclude=[forum number] to the end of the search. OMNI, OMNI/PR & OMNI/Games have the forum number 457, 652 & 699
