ActiveX Filtering in IE11 - what does it do?
Have been having problems (95% of the time with this website) when those auto playing video adverts appear at the bottom of the screen.
They start jerky and either slow down the webpage and any typing or the browser just freezes and has to be closed or refreshed.
Opened IE11, went to tools and clicked on ActiveX filtering. Now the same adverts all seem to run smoothly and can't say I've had any scrolling, page lock-ups etc. as of yet.
No idea what it's done.
Added: Tried to play a flash video on Facebook and it says it's been disabled. Possibly a side effect?
