Hi, in the last week I've started to get ads popping up and covering part of the BA board so posts can't be read properly. I'm using an iPad so don't think I can screenshot it. This only happens on FT - it's really annoying! I'm using Google.

To take an iPad screen shot, press POWER and HOME at the same time.

Redirected to Ad Page

After I click on a sub-forum or a thread, I get redirected to a page that only shows an ad (usually the Marriott credit card). On Chrome, it shows that the page is still loading, but nothing happens a few minutes later.

Not sure I'm only the only one getting affected by this...

Yeah this really is getting annoying. I don't blame you for using FT a lot less because of this since you keep having to refresh or re-open a new browser window.

I've been getting that ad every time I go to read a thread in any hotel forum.

Using Chrome on a PC.

I'm getting this too. Over here it's usually small airline ads that appear only at the top of the screen and seem designed to appear as part of an overall web page.

On IE10 it is necessary to hit the Back button. Then you get the FT page. The FT page has flashed past for a split second before the ad is displayed. Some ad overlay is being sent down as a separate page.

Thankyou IBobi for this most useful tip, it's brilliant. Can anyone please help with my next problem? I have successfully taken a screenshot but each time I try to use the icon above to add the picture to this message it asks me for a url no. I am on an iPad and can't see one anywhere. Is it not possible to simply upload the image somehow?

.... Reads WIKI and returns 10 minutes later ... Actually, I can save you all the trouble - I have now read the WIKI on this (what and where is the 'clipboard?!) and am going to retire to a dark room with a wet towel around my head and see what I can figure out. This is all soooo last century - why on earth can we not just upload?
