Under "Members" at the top of the page, click "My FlyerTalk." On the left side of the page, you'll see several headings. Under "Settings & Options," click, "Edit Options." On the main portion of the page, under "Messaging & Notification," the next to the last option has a check box for, "Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages."
Even with that checked, it doesn't work, at least for some of us.

It's checked for me, but starting about 2 weeks ago, I'm no longer receiving emails for most messages. On further check, it's seems initial PMs are sending emails, but replies aren't
