Are you putting your three letter airport codes in quotes? "LAX" in qoutes should work.

Sorry, I consider the tech issues area of FT fit for my most recent observation.
If that's unjustfied, so be it.
I can't say I was acting too rationally after complying with the requirement of using three-letter codes when trying to book on .bomb, and being told they were required.
