I think the business lounges are already full in ZRH,...
Totally agree. I was there Thursday evening and when you feel more exclusive OUTSIDE of the lounge (ZRH is a nice airport), you know that something is wrong. To sell that bazaar feeling there as a relaxing retreat is a stretch...

Premium Eco would need a separate lounge.

Since when does Premium Y give lounge access with any airline?

Seems I was wrong about that. Looks like some airlines offer access for a fee, not free.

Air France at CDG. Also access to fast track security and priority boarding, I think even at outstations.

As I understand the two additional B77W's will be delivered by April 2018, however the last A343 to be transferred to WK will only occur by the end of the summer 2018, hence there we would assume that most or all A343's will be refurbished by mid 2018

I booked a RT to NRT next June in J so it would be great to get the refurbished A340, might even give me a reason to upgrade to F.

A340-300 business seat upgrade?

I've just booked a flight with the A340-300 (ZRH-GRU), which I was a tad reluctant to do given how old school the business class seems to be compared to other products on offer, particularly with the tiny tiny screen!

I was trying to do some research and saw an article from Oct 2006 saying Swiss is upgrading their A340-300s to the newer business class found in the 777s.

This is a flight at the end of Dec - what are the odds we'll get a new version of the A340? How is this upgrade progressing?

Thanks!

None of the A340 are retrofitted yet and it won’t before 2018... So your flight will be with the outdated cabins

The A340 and A330 have the same business class seats, which are hardly "old school". The screen is just fine.

I definitely agree on the seats, but the screens are not fine to me. Entirely subjective, of course!

The J seats are fine. Huge difference between old and new F cabins though.

Yeah, when I said old school, I was thinking more the TV rather than the seat.
