First class lounge in ZRH

First class lounge in ZRH
Hello,

I'm flying First class from ZRH to SFO. I was wondering regarding the first class lounge.
IIRC, the lounge is at terminal A and the flights to the US are from terminal D.
Can I still use the lounge (and get to the gate with the limo there)? Or is it because I'm flying to a non-European country I still need to go to the lounge in terminal D.

First class lounge in ZRH
Flights to the US normally depart from E.
You get a shuttle ride from the lounge to dock E.

Thanks for the quick response.

So basically I can go do the First class lounge (I guess without going through border control) and then from there I will be taken with a car to terminal E (and border control)?

Yes, go to the lounge in A. Before they drive you to E, there is a dedicated passport control in A on ground level just before getting into the car.

No, my flight has Swiss code (booked via Swiss)

Unfortunately, it appears it does. It appears even though it's LX metal, UA codeshare passengers traveling in first are being turned away from the first class lounge. Just an fyi.

Luckily for me, I've booked a LX flight via swiss.com. So I hope I will be able to enter the lounge.

Btw, is it a good First class lounge? I'm used to business/Senator lounge.
Was only in First class lounges in FRA. Is the ZRH similar?

It's much better than any Business/Senator lounges but not as nice as the First Class Lounges in FRA.
