Looking at staying here overnight on a drive from Munich to Verona. Reading the reviews here it seems like a very decent 4Points. Any more experiences of you guys who stayed here recently?

Have some stays there. Always upgraded. It is a nice and decent hotel.

BTW: nice pool and free parking nearby!

I had a similar BRG on my last stay as well. Great property, upgrade, facilities (especially the Saunas) and Breakfast. Possibly the nicest 4P in the world. There's also a large supermarket/superstore down the street in case you need anything

Hi! Mrs Tibas and I are thinking of going to Italy to ski in early January. How anyone used 4P Bolzano as a base for skiing in the Dolomiti Superski? I know it is not in the middle of the ski areas, but it is a too long drive to be convenient? We will have our own car so we will have the car with us anyway. We are planning to pay the stay by points.

But if the 4P is not suitable for accessing the ski areas we will rather go for a other hotel. Does then someone has any other recommendations for a hotel in the area?

Thanks in advance!

Pretty good! We got upgraded to a nice suite, breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Very big selection. They have a fantastic pool on the top floor, that was almost always empty. The bar is always very busy, its a local hot spot.

Bolzano/Bozen is a nice town, the hotel is not near the city center, but an easy drive. I think the hotel also rents out bikes, which would probably be the best way to get into town.

We have been here twice over new year's for skiing. Carezza and Obereggen are nearby; Obereggen is great for skiing. Always upgraded, but insist on an exterior room. It is (or was) great for an inexpensive 5-day points stay each time.

I just stayed and was rather impressed. Plat upgrade to a nice suite and that has to have been the best breakfast I've seen at any Four Points. I'm pretty sure at the FP's in the US they don't have an egg chef cooking your eggs to order, right?

I drove my car, but I saw a bunch of rental bikes in the garage.

By the way, driving down to Bolzano through the mountains from Austria was incredible. At one point the road is over 8200 feet in altitude! And the Castle Tyrol is well worth a visit, 30 minutes north of this hotel.
