Arrow [Left Marriott 2022] Sheraton Westpark Munich / München, Germany [Master Thread]

I have an upcoming stay and have done the search. It was a little bit difficult to extract something from the different threads...

Is it possible to make a master thread for this hotel?

We will happily make a master thread, but we need content to do so. I just searched the forum, and only found this thread with a very specific question:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starw...-westpark.html

There is some comment on the hotel in threads on different topics but more about upgrades or meeting pointsl. I think the best thing would be if people can begin to respond to this thread with their reports on the hotel, then we can build up some information.

Time to update their webpage:
Smoking Policy
Due to the Non-Smokers' Protection Act, smoking is banned in all public areas. This ban includes smoking in the lobby, bar, and restaurants. Most of the guest rooms are non-smoking rooms; however, we have a limited number of smoking rooms available on request. Please contact the hotel for further information.

How close is this hotel from the U-Bahn & S-Bahn stations? The website says "right outside", but that has meant blocks away in some cases.

This Hilton has U & S-Bahn available directly below it without stepping outside. Is this available at any SPG properties in Munich?

Is U + S - Bahn station ( Heimeran Platz ) located under the hotel near enough?!

the subway-station Heimeranplatz is directly in front of the hotel as well as the S-Bahn.

Hotel does not look good from the outside but inside it is just fine. Bathrooms are small for all room types but that is the main down side.

I was always upgraded as platinum to executive or business suite which are both the same except that one has a sitting area and the other a dining table.

But to be honest I like the corner junior suites more as they are mainly the same size but only one room thus giving a more spacious feeling.

When jr. suites are avaible just tell the front desk and they will sure give you one. The club room is nothing sepcial, just a normal room on higher floor.

I liked the lounge as you can order everything from the room service without the charge.

2 recent separate brief 1 night stays at this hotel.

Only PG status, but was upgraded to Club floor on second stay.

Staff service ws very good throughout.

Good choice for breakfast, although the food was laid out on about 5 different serving stations... took a while to find the bread!

Only went to Club Lounge very briefly late in the evening - some wine and beers still available - 2 computers available at one end.

Likely to be back to the property very soon for a longer stay, so should be able to provide more details.

had a longer stay this week - no upgrade this time

One unusual thing was there was no gym / fitness room on site, however there are spa facilities that open at 7am. There is a small round swimming pool along with a jacuzzi in the main area, along with a small bar and patios area with loungers. There's a separate area with a large sauna, steam room and sun bed. The 2 times I went in the morning, there was no one on duty and only one other guest.

Westpark v. Arabellapark

Staying with my 10-year old for 5 days in Munich in June. Trying to decide between the Sheraton Westpark and the Arabellapark. I am Starwood Gold. TripAdvisor shows WP as more highly rated, yet seems that AP is considered more upscale. Curious if anyone has stayed at both any how you would compare them? Thanks.

Both are a bit out of the city, offer nice club lounges and direct connection to the subway, so 10 minutes to the city center.
If you get a studio the arabellapark has bigger rooms and rooms in the WP are pretty small. Overall I would prefer the arabellapark.

Don't forget the much bigger swimming pool at the Sheraton Arabellapark!
