The WSJ does not look good for Hilton, that's for sure. I'm curious to see how this all will play out.

Shouldn't be that difficult as evidently the Hilton legal team sent the 8 boxes of materials to Sheraton when they found them...

This is 'special' Honey Money which can only be redeemed at a certain property in Italy.

The winner gets a week at the Sheraton Newton.

The loser gets two weeks.

such lawsuits normally are quite costly. The starwood entity lost 4.7% in management revenue last quarter.

while im are that room rates are set independantly by hotels, i hope such a move will not cause starwood to search for incremental revenue which affect costs to us or reduced benefits in the spg programme.

Rather more info here

Hi All;

http://www.hoteldesigns.net/industrynews/news_5552.html

I have to say the level of responses on the Marketplace site of the WSJ makes Flyertalk look like the last resort of the intelligent mind (never thought I would say that, considering **I** am a member).

Apparently the FBI is now investigating to see if there are any criminal charges.

I'm sitting at the JFK AAdmirals club listening to a Hilton Exec on the phone nervously telling someone about it. Guess it shows you need to be careful how loudly you speak on your cell phone in public.
