Paradise is Closer [35%off Top End Property Point redemptions] Relaunches 1 Sep '16

We are excited to announce that eight of our most luxurious resorts can now be redeemed for 35% fewer Starpoints. From bookings made now until February 28, 2017, the eight resorts listed below will offer Free Night redemption for 35% less. Due to the type of rooms these resorts have, they must be redeemed by calling one of our SPG customer contact centers and cannot be booked online. The redemption savings are taken at the time of booking and no registration is required. Furthermore, our 5th Night Free benefit applies to these lower redemption rates. More information at complete terms are at spg.com/paradiseiscloser.

• W Retreat Koh Samui, Thailand – now 39,000 Starpoints (was 60,000)
• The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, Thailand – now 26,000 Starpoints (was 40,000)
• Vana Bella, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui, Thailand – now 26,000 (was 40,000)

Given the booking window ending in March, this is an amazing offer. ^^

That's perfect timing! Just last night I started looking at Bora Bora for early next year. This offer will save me a lot of SPs.

I love the al maha. It includes all food and daily activities- camel riding across the dunes to ice cold champagne. All rooms have private pools(well you may be sharing them with the local wildlife). You can't go to Dubai without going to al maha.

Most of these are Cat 7 properties, so will be excluded, but for the Cat 6ers (Pine Cliffs and the two Koh Samuis), is this promo stackable with the Gold / Plat renewal %-off promo ?

Or would this be prohibited by this :

No, each requires its own unique redemption code.

Question

I assume that there is no equivalent C+P deal available for these properties, but am asking just in case...

Nothing in the USA? I guess your "most luxurious" resorts are not there....

I'm trying to book Pine Cliffs - but it keeps telling me this hotel has Limited SPG Particiption, and so it won't show me any points rates... How should I proceed? Through my Ambassador? Or is this just a bug?

The call to action is to call into the SPG Call Center, not to try and book this online. Your Ambasador would probably be the best place to start.

Not only that, but the cost in Starpoints is the same, regardless of whether it is high season or low season. So, it can be a greater than 35% off redemption opportunity, depending upon when you travel.
