Using United Club one-time pass w/Alliance member

I have a friend traveling to Taipei, Taiwan and I wanted to give her a couple one-time passes to the united lounge, are these redeemable at alliance lounges like the Eva Air lounge?

http://www.evaair.com/en-us/check-in...rport/lounges/

Would she need to have them in-hand or would me sending her a picture of the barcode suffice?

Thanks

This is interesting. Would be great if it worked in UA lounges. I think it would be fine if the bar code, once scanned, could be classed as "used." Otherwise, it would no longer be a one time pass.

They are only for use in United Clubs. It says so right on the pass.

There are like only 5 international locations, not sure where you get "many" from, and you can't be disappointed if you don't read the T&C about united club is the only lounge that would accept these passes.

5 is many, even though there are a little more than 5. they are accepted in international locations as long as it's a uc.

These questions are best answered by reading the t&c printed right on the pass. I suspect that OP would have found that his says that it is only valid at UC's and that the pass itself, not a copy or photograph, must be presented.
