Iberia Business Lounge on stopover
Hi
Iberia seems a bit unclear on their admission to the business lounge on connecting flights. They state as requirement for business class travellers to access a lounge: "Boarding card valid on the day for flights operated by the Iberia Group. If you have a connecting flight in a different service class, you can only access the VIP lounge of the airport where you start your journey in Business class".
Does that mean that if you fly Iberia business to MAD and further connect in business to another Iberia flight, you can access the lounge in MAD?
Unfortunately they did not respond on the question and do not clarify online.
What are your experiences? Thank you

Yes, you should have access in this case. Note that if you are connecting to a Schengen flight (or Iberia/Iberia express operated flights to UK/Ireland) then you will not have access to the larger Velázquez lounge, but the Dalí lounge is still quite nice.
