Yes, I was a computer operator/mgr in the 80's.

The Seagate ST41200N was introduced in 1990 and was a 1GB 5.25" full height SCSI hard drive. I recall we had a SunServer with one of these.

One thing I don't see mentioned here (although I just skimmed the thread) as to a possible reason there are no red eye flights on SWA could be that the flight crew work under union collective bargaining agreements (they do) and their particular agreement could stipulate no scheduled red eyes. Just a thought.
