Connection time

I have a 35 minute connection in BWI. Is this possible?

My flight is PIT-BWI-CLT. I leave PIT at 6:20 am, arrive in BWI at 7:30 am, depart BWI at 8:05 am. This was my only option on Southwest since they don't fly direct PIT-CLT.

Also, what are the chances my (wife's) checked bag makes it to CLT the same time we do?

Really not to worry being the first flight out of the day. I do it all the time starting in ISP and connecting in BWI. But I am amazed they sold you a ticket with this connection time, I looked yesterday and couldn't get one unless 45 min or more, probably something revised recently.

It's a Saturday flight and I paid for Early Bird check-in for my wife (she gets motion sickness and window seats help), so I'll just make sure we sit as close to the front on the PIT-BWI leg.

Your bags should make it. Every time I've connected at BWI, I luck out and get gates that are fairly close by. Even if you had a walk from the end of A to the end of B it's only about a 10 minute walk.

Ok, great. Fingers crossed for close gates. I've never been to BWI, so I was a bit worried. Thanks

I had the same issue back in Feb, flying from SJU-BWI-ABQ-SEA. I had that short connection, and weather was bad. It ended up being just fine. BWI was a piece of cake.

It's a legal connection and WN sells it. But, you are looking for convenience, US has 9 non-stops on that route. No muss, no fuss.

You forgot to mention that US is a real airline.

You also forgot to mention that WN is $117 on that route and US non-stop is $425.

I know US has the flights, but I have the companion pass and lots of points, so this option is free. And this is for a wedding, so I don't have flexibility on dates. Thanks for the help!

My 35 minute connection in BWI turned into a 3:30 connection last summer. Pretty common for really long delays due to "weather"
