????

I'm not sure what is going on.

flyventure does not purport to be a Southwest Representative but purports to convey information from Southwest.

If Southwest wishes to make information public they should utilize "official" channels like press releases, their blog or other channels.

As it is many many issues have been left up in the air because Southwest has not spoken publicly on them or has spoken with forked tongue.

Where in the world did you ever get the idea that Southwest wishes to make anything "public" or "official" any more than they already do/have? They do what suits the suits in DAL, nothing more and nothing less.

The 3 most recent Tweets from @SouthwestAir announce Fat Tire Beer availability, Black History Month, and something about a porch in New York associated with a football game in New Jersey. That says a lot about Southwest's official channels and such

Meanwhile @ 1115pm CST Saturday night, the website is still carrying a Travel Advisory that expired 11+ hours ago for MCI and will expire 45 minutes from now for MDW, DTW, FNT, GRR, and MKE. No mention of any updates for Sunday. Oh....and they *never* date/time stamp any of the T/A's they post. Heck, even Delta and United know how to read a wall clock.

How's the tinfoil hat fitting?

Departure figures are from the Fact Sheet from the Website: http://www.swamedia.com/channels/Cor...ate-fact-sheet

It took me about 2 minutes to find, no employee credentials needed.

Actually, MDW is the 1st largest city in the network, but not BWI. BWI is in the third largest city.

Pretty much as expected though service to SNA instead of OAK/SFO is a bit of a curve ball.

That's just typical DC snobbery at it's finest

Southwest can't even get their text of the announcement to match their graphics. On http://www.southwest.com/html/travel...las/index.html the graphic says BWI on 10/13 and DCA on 11/2. The text listing below has them reversed with DCA first. Come on guys!

It would be interesting to see a list of the city pairs being dropped or having frequency reduced as a result of these changes. As someone based in STL, I know it's not going to be good news for me.
