Getting a replacement RR Card?
Is there a way to request a new rapid rewards card (with the same number)? I've had mine so long (8+ yrs) that the plastic on top has peeled off along with the numbers on it. Most of the time it isn't needed since you just enter the numbers online but I'd like to have one just in case.
Can you request one online or do you have to call them?
Thanks

You can log in to your account and print your own at this URL:
https://www.southwest.com/cgi-bin/up...membershipcard
IIRC, somewhere in this forum is the assertion that SWA no longer issues a physical membership card.
Of course the web site doesn't give you an easy way to print just the card itself; you are supposed to print the entire page and cut out the image of the card. That will probably cost you about $5 worth of ink, so use something like Print Edit in Firefox to get rid of all the extra cr*p first (or just use the "Print Selection" feature to get rid of most of the cr*p). If you want something less flimsy, print on heavy stock or photo paper.
If you are handy with basic image editing, you could do a screen capture and crop it so that just the card remains. For a more durable result have a photo lab print the image. You could perhaps fit multiple copies on a single 4x6 photo.

Here is what the online card looks like:
The above image can be downloaded and edited, or the following code can be edited and saved on your computer as rrCard.html for easy access to a virtual RR membership card:
