How is the ATM situation in Bogota and are they safe (ie risk of robbery?)

Most ATMs in Bogotá have vestibules with security guards. Most branches of Carulla supermarket have Citi ATMs inside them which also give you the biggest amount of cash. So if you are uncomfortable using an ATM (which I don't think you overly need to be) just go to Carulla, get your cash, wander around, buy some chips, then leave and people outside think you are a regular shopper
