Latest update of the delayed opening of the Sydney SkyTeam lounge is now December 2014:

Will apparently include showers, unlike the IST lounge...

There is no doubt i enjoyed my last stop over in the qantas lounge. I was able to have a quick shower and get freshened up in 20-30mins. Plus a drink a bite to eat before reboarding. Quite a pleasent experience. Though the front desk didnt quite know i was allowed in first due to them being contracted by CI.
I am sure the new skyteam lounge will be atleast close to the same quality being that its new, where the Qantas lounge is not as new.

The only one of these three with a lounge in the International terminal is SQ. MH have closed theirs, and VA only has domestic lounges.

I also identified SQ and MH as *former* DL partners.
DL, KLM, KE, CZ, and MU are indeed full members of SkyTeam.
KLM used to fly to SYD or at least FROM SYD. I've been on that flight.

Was that some time ago? I thought that for at least the last ten or so years, KLM has served SYD (and several other destinations in Australia/New Zealand) by code-sharing on MH out of KUL, rather than sending its own metal there. More recently, it has also started to code-share on CZ out of CAN as well.
