Pay with Krisflyer Miles
I’ve been trying to get a biz class one-way Savers Award from Perth to Zurich on Sept 17 2015. And another one way Savers from Amsterdam to Perth on Oct 3rd (with a few days stopover in Singapore). However, both trips are offered as Waitlisted for Savers even though it is eleven months away.
I’m thinking of using the Pay with Krisflyer Miles but have not done it before. Can anyone advise on whether it is worth using krisflyer points for this? I could not find anything on the SQ website to indicate how much krisfyer points are worth if I were to Pay with Krisflyer Miles. Thanks for any info.

Thanks very much for the advice to do a dummy booking. Did that and found that it was not worth it to pay with krisflyer miles. The conversion rate was not attractive. Thanks again. I've put myself on the waitlist for Savers Award.

I guess it's only useful if you have expiring miles and can't use it to redeem for anything.

gtan, they are worth nearly exactly 1 Singapore cent per mile (or 0.89 AUD cent) which is about half what you should be getting on a outright award. We've done some analysis here to show.
