The A333s serves the regional routes so I guess they're utilized more than their long haul cousins.

Secondly, the A350 would make sense on longer thin routes, where a 77W would be too much of a plane.
e.g.
JNB-CPT
CPH
AMS
I have sources that tell me that one of your guessed Long Haul destination is correct. ")

I've booked SQ tickets for nov'15 AMS-SIN and it shows b777-300ER. If it swaps to a a350 that would of course be fine by me.

I'll continue my flight to Perth which now shows b777-200, hopefully we see a change of aircraft on that flight.

What is the delivery schedule for the 777-300ER's on order? And is there any word on what routes they will service?

True, SQ is the only airline that operates SIN-KIX direct so there's also NH codeshares.

But the 77W/N has lesser seats than A333 according to seatguru.

77WN: F8J42Y228=278
A333: J30Y255=285

Passengers on NRT bound flights may also have onward flights to US so I'm guessing that is why they use the 77W/A380 as there is an F product. Whereas for KIX, there's no onward connectivity.

That's just my guess.

Four more to come. One (9V-SWZ) was originally to have been delivered in 2014; might miss that. The remaining three are spaced out through 2015.

Except for SIN -- MEL vv, no specific routes have yet been nominated for 77WNs. By the time the last three new-builds arrive, some of the re-fits should also be finished. At some point, new and "old" (2006) frames will go the pool.
