You are given a printed invitation at check in.

Usually (2 x out of 3 for me) you are then escorted through security and walked to the lounge..

If you are already checked in (eg LAS-JFK is on the same ticket and same day) then you can still stop by the JFK check in counter to pick up a lounge invite, or alternatively just go to the lounge with your SQ F boarding pass - they may accept it without a lounge invite card.

Its because you're not flying VS.

SQ F already gets you VS Clubhouse. Since SQ sold their stake, VS can and may pull out SQ passengers using their CH altogether in the future.

I know that there is no comp treatment for SQ F at JFK - however, can one get an appointment and pay for spa services ?

They may, but given that it's been two years since SQ sold their share in VS, and VS haven't yet, it doesn't look like they will. They even still let KFEG members flying VS into the CH, despite SQ only advertising the benefit for PPS Club members.

If they were going to do so, they'd probably have done so by now.
