Cash Upgrades @ OLCI or Gate
Does anyone know if Singapore Airlines offers cash upgrade at OLCI or the airport for their flights?

They do, and it shall be the difference of a Full Fare Business and your econonmy class ticket

This is mostly correct. They'll just offer you the upfare, or if they can't calculate it, then the full fare of the upgraded cabin.

Don't expect a discount--this is the wrong airline.

You need to upfare to then available full business class fare. You also need minimum of one extra hour as your whole ticket need to be reissued with new fare calculation.@:-)

It is shocking that SQ thinks they can sell business class seats at full fare. I have two segments waitlisted for D class for over one month now.

But SQ does sell many full-fare J tickets on markets such as SIN-LHR.
