Recent SAT Aisle visits?

Recent SAT Aisle visits?
I'll be in SAT in a couple of weeks. I haven't been there in a couple of years. Any recent experiences with the isle lately in SAT? BTW...I'm executive, but any recent selections appreciated. Thanks

I don't remember when they moved, but the rental car facility is on the other side of the freeway now and has a MUCH better selection of vehicles than the old location. I fly in there a few times a year and have never had a problem getting my choice of cars on the executive aisle. I typically grab Impalas, but have seen a good variety of other vehicles.

Been there a couple of times in the past 2 weeks. I have gotten an S40 and an Impala. I agree the selection is much better lately. Now if they would upgrade the airport and finish the construction.

YES!!! I forgot to mention the construction. Depending on what time your return the vehicle, it can take A LONG time to get to the terminal with construction traffic. I don't travel on the weekends, but have been told by the shuttle drivers that a 60 minute trip isn't unheard of. Without traffic, the trip is 3-5 minutes.

I got a esclade the last time from EE. Its a nice location.
Easy to get lost trying to return the car. If you have a GPS save your location!

I have got M300 & Jeeps in EE aisle there and the construction around the airport is horrible. Last time I was there I was taking a early morning return flight and they blocked the direct access to the rental return from the freeway and I was going around in circles for 45 minutes before I could find a way.

I was there on 8/29. Didn't get a chance to check out the exec aisle, but here's what I saw:

Picked up from the EE Aisle a few days ago...a bunch of SUV's and a ton of Pickups (Texas Style). I decided to go with a Silverado Quad Cab to be in the Texas Style! I was happy with the selection!

I'm renting a Premium car from National at SAT for a week at the end of March. Anyone notice what they've had in the Premium aisle there lately?
