Reciprocal AA/BA FFP Announced

Just listening to BA's Q1 results call. One of the bullet points on the slides is entitled:

"Reciprocal FFP"

No details, but he said a further announcement in two weeks.

Discuss!

Start burning those miles now as I think it's going to get a hell of a lot harder to use them in future.

It's back to WWII.

Out of curiosity, was AA implied, or could this be IB?

The BA/IB schemes are pretty reciprocal now under OneWorld. It's almost certainly a reference to AA.

The slide title was "American Airlines Update", page 29/48 on the downloadable PDF.
