Thumbs up (EXPIRED) BOOK BY JULY 10: Planet Hollywood Panorama Suite $177

Spirit Air and Planet Hollywood are offering a sale on the PH's Panorama Suite. (That's the suite that PH usually declines to offer as a Plat upgrade even if it's available. )

Available most Sunday - Thursday nights through Sept 4.
Minimum 2 night stay required.

I'm not sure if SPG would honor a BRG claim for this. It's bookable through the Planet Hollywood's own reservation system.

Includes a $40 gaming bonus (3 different coupons) and 2-for-1 admission to the spa.

See the rate calendar and book it here.

Spirit Air's promo page with the details.

As this is booked through the hotel's website, this should qualify for SPG benefits. You'll have to call to add your SPG number to the reservation, or give it to the clerk at check-in.

Edit: For comparison, I extensively searched spg.com for one pair of days and came up with a best rate of $433/nt for this same suite. (Run of house best price was $93 - $98.)

Edit 2: Probably would not qualify for BRG since it is packaged with coupons.

Would this rate promo count as stay/nights and would an SPG member get points?

Yes, see below. Reservations booked directly with a Starwood hotel qualify for SPG benefits including (but not limited to) Starpoints and elite qualification (except for ineligible rates such as travel industry rates, group convention rates, etc. as outlined in the SPG T&Cs).

But this is a resort, right? They don't have to give it to you!

Why are you having trouble? I went as far as the confirmation, but didn't pull the trigger because I'm not sure of when I can make it yet. It looks as though it's available to book...

Have fun and good luck, gabo02! Did you get it to work online, or did you have to call in to book it?

That is such a nice room and that rate is fantastic! I've gotten the Panorama upgrade three times and it was quite a view and experience each time.

Last time I was in Vegas I booked a Tower Suite at Treasure Island / TI for $189 and I thought that was a killer deal, but the room is only 900 sq. ft. compared to the 1255 of PH's Panorama suite so this is definitely the better deal.

Vegas is hurting right now so they are pushing out a lot of great promo's lately.
