BKK / Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) oneworld Lounges (consolidated)

Any opinions on the best OW lounge at BKK? Thanks.

There isn't one. All are pretty similar, and much worse than the old BKK airport lounges. But the construction is still incomplete in the new BKK airport, so there is some hope yet.

Worst of all there is no air conditioning in the airport! It's brand new and they don't install air conditioning (or at least turn it on)! It was hotter inside than it was outside. I was absolutely miserable.

Hopefully things have changed since mid-february when I was there. The last thing I worried about was a lounge

Actually there are at least two!!

I used the Qantas/BA business lounge just this week. It is not too bad, certainly the a/c is much better in the lounge than out (but frankly it's not that hot in the terminal - better than having arctic temperature a/c). What is pleasant is that the lounge looks out on a pleasant large green square, which makes for a nice change. All the usual amenities are provided, including decent internet access.
I also noticed a CX lounge across the way from the Qantas lounge, but didn't go into it.

Both these lounges are on level 3 in the G-gates wing.

I didn't see the First lounge, or at least it wasn't obvious (but after the flight from LHR one is not terribly alert).
Another thing to note about the Business lounge is the excellent staff who seem to be ready to respond to any whim.

You misunderstand ... there is no "best" lounge, they are all poor. Of course QF and CX both have lounges at BKK -- not having a lounge there is unthinkable. But the new lounges are poor quality compared to the old lounges.

Looks pretty good to me. If its anything like the Lounge in SIN then I think you'll be fine

BA/Qantas Lounge by far. I was there back in July and walked into the CX lounge and right back out as it is really small, no restroom, and weak food/beverage offerings. The BA/Qantas option, though, is long and spacious, with a huge bar full of food and beverage, and nice showers/restrooms in the back of the club.

I was in the QF/BA J lounge recently before a CX flight. Empty except for me. Rather nice. CX lounge was cramped and food not as good. I wasn't Emerald then so could only stare longingly at the QF/BA F lounge (across the hall).

Qantas website should have accurate hours information. I've been in the lounge at 1pm or so and it was open.
