ua: bwi-sgn $1,127 all in slightly less weekdays

shows up as a booking class of w going, v returning. total of $1,127.

not sure how good it is, but almost as many miles as sin (it's about 20,500)

by the way i found some sfo to sin for $902 WITH taxes (but the flight to sfo was expensive).

I have found that by simply using www.google.com and typing in the unknown airport code, the subsequent search results will elucidate the location.@:-)

Any sample dates to any of these? I plugged in end of May, mid July and Mid august and came up with $1,500+

We flew SBA-SIN for $710 all in last month (UA) so none of this sounds like a good deal to me.

Why bother with Google when there's a lookup link right on the main page here at FT: Airport Code Lookup

Yes, but you didn't fly that SBA-SIN in a SWU upgradable class... this one is so it's still a pretty good deal. I'm looking at $1400 PHL-SIN in July

wish it was upgradeable. i don't believe v and w are upgradable.

i'm going to have to do something in the next 90 minutes, but then can cancel it within 24 hours.

i can't find cheaper flights in may and have looked all over ita software. so you may have gotten that sbn to sin on sale unless someone knows something i dont. the wonders of flying in may sted april

IIRC V should be upgradeable. S is not.

I did some looking. I got it as low as $1052.70 BWI-SFO-SGN. It's a W both ways and upgradeable with a SWU.

Whoops... forgot to put the dates in... this appears to be available at this fare starting in September. The routing is just over 20K miles R/T.

I was just in Hanoi last month. Don't forget that you'll need a visa to get into Vietnam.

fare is available in may. i'm flying may 6-may 20 if i go ahead with it

(I was in vietnam 2 or 3 years ago). It's obviously not as good as the sbn to sin fare cited above, but the best fare i could find to sin was $900 all in from sfo and the add on from was pushes it up

the only bad news on the fare: I couldnt use the 10% off coupon. no idea why not

Where and when are you finding this. I tried month long search on ITA for a number of months through Sept. and can't find anything close to this fare on UA

You can't use ITA to find this fare. It's a W/V WEB fare that is only available on the United site. ITA doesn't pick up any of those in it's search. I only found the cheap fares by plugging in days to the flexible search.

Because it's an instant purchase WEB fare, you can use coupons, discounts, or vouchers with it either.
