2nd visit A380 on 17th March 2007 at FRA

I just read it in the local press. The A380 will come on Saturday, the 17th March 2007, for a 10 day visit to FRA. There are also passengers flight planned, but they don´t told any details about the flights.

Yes, it is the same for me. I had a stop over for 2 hours for my connecting flight on that day in the afternoon. Maybe we are lucky to see the AIRBOSS !!

March 17th is a Saturday!

I guess I'll just have to make a point of visiting my parents that weekend.

I definitely look forward to seeing the big beastie. Does anyone want to even think about how crowded the viewing terrace at FRA will be?

Last time I missed the A380 (we landed 30 minutes after it left FRA).

But hey, we are arriving on March, 17 from LAS with DE.

Oh no, I had the choice of connecting through FRA or ZRH on that day and chose ZRH...

MUC? Really? I wonder if one has a better chance of being able to see it there?! What are your guesses?

Last rumor is that it will be parked at Gate B46.

Hey, older HONs,

does it make any sense to approach LH for a group tour of the plane? I'm new to this echelon and while I very much enjoy all the usual perks I have no idea how they'd respond for something unusual like this.

I can't believe, that bird will be in FRA for 10 days. What a waste of time. Anyway, whatever is on the list for that visit may have to do with hard work in order to get FRA on track to support the bigbus. Maybe the entire action is arranged between FRAPORT and AIRBUS and has little to do with LH.

@ngfan:
Parking a plane at a gate? In FRA? They are so short of gates in FRA, they will never for sure waste a gate to just park an aircraft.
